With a focus on helping
India develop its nascent infrastructure and achieve
prominence and its rightful position as one of the great
nations of the world, Ramose Infra Private Limited
incorporated in the year 1995, beginning as a team of
engineers undertaking the infrastructure development for
the residential township of Kant Enclave, a development
set in 425 acres (1.72 million square metres) of prime
real estate bordering New Delhi.
Following the announcement of the
National Hydro Power Policy in 1998, that allowed for
the development of small hydro-power projects within the
country by private companies, the company foresaw
opportunities for construction of these, and decided to
diversify into this area. It quickly built up the
experience and the competence needed to undertake the
construction of these dams and has to its credit the
construction of the first private small hydro-power
project in the rocky and difficult terrain of the
Himalayas, completing Rajwakti 4.4 MW in the state of
Uttarakhand within a period of 30 months. This success
gave Ramose Infra the confidence to undertake bigger
projects and it completed Vanala 15 MW, also within a
timeframe of 30 months. Deciding to undertake bigger
projects still, it is now starting work on two more
projects that have a total rated power of 70 MW.
Very recently acquired projects are
the contracts for the Himachal Pradesh Road and other
Infrastructure Development Corporation (HPRIDC) project
of road widening in the state of Himachal Pradesh, and
the Engineering Projects of India Limited (EPIL) project
for the construction of an Intermodal IWT Terminal on
the Ganges at Varanasi.
As a company Ramose Infra ensures
that all its construction activities cause the minimum
of ecological/environmental impact and social
disruption. We try to conserve natural resources and the
biology as best we can and to minimise the pollution of
the environment, and always take measures to ensure that
the ecological and social balance of the site is
restored to as much of the original state as possible.
Ramose Infra adheres to the highest
professional standards at all times and strives to
always maintain these. It has both the ISO 9001:2008 for
quality management and the ISO 14001: 2004 certification
for environmental management. In the field of
construction, unforeseen mishaps always happen but the
company tries to ensure a safe workplace that minimises
the risk of accidents and injuries. The company prides
itself in providing equal opportunities for all and
follows a non-discrimination policy.
A dynamic and ambitious company
with a dedicated staff and an ethos of hard work, Ramose
Infra has come a long way since its inception and now
looks at broader horizons, with the intent to establish
a global presence in the field of construction and
infrastructure development. |
