The operations for
Ramose Infra commenced with Kant Enclave, a residential
development set in 425 acres (1.72 million square metres)
of prime real estate bordering New Delhi. The
infrastructure development included road-works,
landscaping, water and sewage systems, and electrical
and communication systems. A dry, barren area on
difficult and rocky terrain was transformed into a
habitable zone with all modern facilities and
conveniences. Also included is the proposed development
of five film studios, and over five hundred luxury
apartments. Works on related social and sports amenities
are at an advanced stage of progress.
Since then, Ramose Infra has
diversified into the construction of hydro-electric
power plants for the generation of electricity in the
Himalayas to supply power to the Government of India.
Ramose Infra has already constructed and commissioned
two of these, Rajwakti, rated at 4.4MW and Vanala, rated
at 15MW, with work on the third and fourth projects,
Dewali and Melkhet rated at 13MW and 56 MW respectively,
scheduled to start in the spring of 2011.
During the building of these projects, Ramose Infra
garnered the necessary and critical experience required
to construct dams and other structures in high
mountainous terrain that is also earthquake prone. The
company has developed the skills to design and fabricate
concrete as well as steel structures. Though the company
does outsource some design work to consultancy houses
with which it has developed links over the years, most
of the design work is done in-house. Ramose Infra has a
varied and experienced staff of managers, designers and
engineers, who with their diverse range of work
experience help provide a broad range of services and
expertise in the company’s areas of operation.
Very recently, Ramose Infra has received the HPRIDC
contract to widen and strengthen the
Theog-Kothkhai-Hathkoti-Rohru road in Himachal Pradesh
and the EPIL contract to build a jetty on the river
Ganges at Varanasi. |
