Kant Enclave
Kant Enclave, a residential township on the New Delhi-Surajkund
road at the New Delhi border is completely independent
and self contained, with the advantage of close
proximity to the affluent southern residential areas of
New Delhi, and set close to the breathtaking
surroundings of the 12th century fort of the Tughlak
dynasty and the Asola bird sanctuary. Kant Enclave is
destined to be the pinnacle of modern comfortable living
in New Delhi. With an initial development cost of 70 Crores (USD 14 Million), Kant Enclave is today valued at
3,351 Crores (USD 755 Million).
Infrastructure DevelopmentThe task of
developing 425 acres (1.72 million sq. metres) of hard,
rocky terrain into a residential township with all civic
amenities was a difficult and arduous challenge for the
young and inexperienced team of Ramose Infra. Undaunted,
the challenge was accepted with fortitude and
perseverance, and the development of the township
completed within 36 months. The highlight of the project
was the completion of the Sewage Treatment Plant within
a period of 3 months. The township comprises
residential plots, apartments, schools, shopping
complexes, green spaces and parks, with the following
being the different aspects of development and
construction: I. Road-works
The total road length of 20.7 km. has a road area of
172,000 sq. m. and metalled area of 149,300 sq. m. All
roads have been completed and surfaced with the
road-works including:
- The preparation of sub-grid, road cutting, soling,
water-bound macadam, and metalling with bitumen coat and
sealing coat.
II. Landscaping and Development (parks, green belt, nursery)
The total green area is approximately 400,000 square
metres, including a green belt and parks. All development and landscaping has
been completed, and the works include:
- Grading of 1,180,000 cubic metres of soil.
- Plantation of approximately twenty thousand trees.

III. Sewage system (External services and Sewage Treatment Plant, drainage)
The sewage system is complete and consists of:
- One sewage treatment plant with a capacity to treat
6 Million Litres/Day.
- One sewage pumping station with a capacity to pump 2
Million Litres/Day.
- Twenty one kilometres of sewage line varying in
diameter from 200 to 1000mm.
- Twenty kilometres of water drain.
IV. Water works (pumping station, underground and overhead tanks, pipelines,
water tank for fire-fighting)
Water supply works have been completed and consist
of:
- One water treatment plant.
- Nine pump houses.
- Twenty nine tube wells.
- Three overhead tanks, each with a capacity to hold
600,000 litres of fresh water.
- Three underground tanks, each with a capacity to
hold 1,100,000 litres of fresh water.
- Thirty six kilometres of water line varying in
diameter from 500 to 1000 mm.
V. Electrical and Communication works (street lighting, sub-station, underground
armoured cables, underground telephone cables)
Electrical and communication works have all been
completed and include:
- Seven electrical Sub-stations.
- Street lighting on all roads.
- The laying of overhead lines and underground
armoured cables along all roads totalling 30 kilometres.
VI. Group Housing and residential plots
The Group housing comprises of five pockets of between five and seven apartment blocks each, with base area of 344,000 square metres and a permissible area for construction of 515,800 square metres. Planning and layout is complete with construction work scheduled to start in the summer of 2011.
Apart from this, also available are 1629 ground plots of varying sizes, ranging from 140 to 850 sq. m, with an area totalling 506,800 sq. metres. |

VII. Film Studio
The township has five film studios in total, one of which is owned by the company. A part of this is ready for indoor shooting, with parks available for outdoor shooting. The rest, which includes a swimming pool, is scheduled for completion in the next two years. |

VIII.Social amenities (sports/social clubs, shopping malls)
The social amenities for the residential colony are
soon to be developed, which include:
- twenty four schools
- two crèches
- three hospitals
- one health centre
- three social /sports clubs
- six shopping centres
- three religious buildings
